I used a compressor to remove dents from 1/10 scale pipes, but you'd need some pressure to blow out steel or thicker ally on 1/5 scale pipes.

cap off the end. Fill up with water to middle of dent. Put in freezer until it freezes the water. Presto.

yes the freezer trick will pop the dent out most of the way , not perfect but you will regain most of the shape. As far as a cap go to Ace Hardware and get the following items; two 4" sections of 1/2" hose, two male garden hose repair ends, two caps (to close off the ends of the hoses), and two hose clamps. The whole set up should be 15$ or less.

Also fill the pipe compleatly with water , if you only fill it half way when the water expands due to freezing the air will compress and the dents will remain unaffected, it needs to be full.

Another also, watch it closely in the freezer because if you let it go to far it WILL brake the welds.

WAIT A MINUTE.... what the h#ll was I thinking, the hose will only work on one end . On the manifold end you will need a rubber cork and wire tie it in snuggly.

No you don't get more power but you will get more speed due to the aerodynamic reduction in exposed surface area.

just kidding
