Racing cart tires are the best and cheapest. You can find used ones on ebay with rims for about $60 a pair. Here is a pic of one of my top fuels... Ohhhh yea.

Holy smoke![X(] Well Im sure it could be done, but by the time you hit 4th gear it would be to far away to see. Or build it big enough to ride.

I think I would Build my own rearend, Look for a good ring & pinnion{{steel gears}} to hold the HP. and the load your going to put into the car. Take into account the weight,Rear tire size, RPM range{{power band}}...I think I would try maby looking for the R&P in a old weedeater, small garden tractor,Or any thing that would have a Ring& pinnion. I'm sure you will find bearings for witch ever gear set you find. I build Real Drag cars for a living{{ Nostalgia} I race a 48 fiat Altered blown alky Enderle injected 1500 hp., I Also Build and sell 1/8th scale Nitro Drag cars,{{NITRO RAGE RC}},Mainly Nostalgia Drag cars{{Pure Hell, 48 fiat altereds, Front engine dragsters, Funny cars..Etc.}} Please Email me if I can help in any way!!

That auction was funny. Raco used the same gears and you can get a complete gearbox on ebay for $50-100 bucks.

I just saw your 1/4 scale dragster and it is just awsome! Do you have any more pictures of it that I could see? I am trying to find out more about these dragsters but I am not having much luck finding information on them. I have have seen a few in the past years and I wish I would have found out more about them. I would love to see a video of them actually running and racing. But I am not having much luck.
