IIRC FG say to mix at 25:1 to begin with. It's quite a rich mix so don't expect amazing performance.

200ml-5L gas.
Run it for 10 mins nice and easy then let it cool down for 15 mins.
repeat till tanks empty.
refill and start using full throttle.

So is it about every gallon of gas, a quarter of 2 stroke oil?

I'll be the first to say American units are a pain. 1 gallon = 128 ounces.

Assuming I'm doing this correctly:

20:1 = (20/1) = (128/x) x = 6.40 ounces added per gallon of gas
25:1 = (25/1) = (128/x) x = 5.12 ounces added per gallon of gas
30:1 = (30/1) = (128/x) x = 4.27 ounces added per gallon of gas
40:1 = (40/1) = (128/x) x = 3.20 ounces added per gallon of gas

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's the deal

For running in use 25:1....I did this for 2 tanks then went to 35:1
50:1 is too lean....I think 35:1 to 40:1 is best.
I just start with 100ml of oil in my container then decide on my ratio and add that amount in fuel ...eg 35:1 add 3500ml.

These guys aren't from the states with their mililiters and litre of fuels

I add 4 ounces of 2 cycle per gallon of gas................ never had a problem yet

50:1 is fine,

In the US we can buy a ratio cup, usually made by ratio rite( check with motocross guys) then you just fill to the oil line for the amount of fuel you have. usually they have 25:1, 40:1 and 50:1 on the same container.
