we use f1 fronts on the front and rears on the rears. the f1 tires work better due to there size being closer to the stock marder tires.

Larger,wider,stickier... The F1 tires are almost the same diameter as the off-road buggy tires so no need to change gearing.
Carpy: It is standard practice to run F1 rears on the rear and F1 fronts on the front. Those F1 rears look huge don't they?

thanks for replies lads, looks like buckets of fun and total mayhem.
do the compounds make a lot of difference or is it negligible?
for some reason i can find pre-glued rears but not fronts??

On the scale of softest to hardes where does "A and B" fall? I need very soft for the front of the Leopard due to the extended chassis (very light front end) Suggestions?

A is the softest then B and C etc... with the PMT's the lower the number the softer, so its 05, 10, 20..etc.. The GRP last much longer, they both grip about the same. The problem that you will have chowder will be the on-throttle vs. off-throttle traction. if you put a soft front to turn when on-throttle you will have a car that will have way too much turn on the brakes. I would work with suspension, more rear spring preload, less front droop. that sort of thing.
