Unfortunately it is in German, I could not find you on the english page the same list.
However you may find your way also through the numbers.
Check:
http://www.rc-car-online.de/teilevergleich_or.htm
Or as jimbo said try to search, it was surely posted before.
Good luck.

This forum is a wonderful resource and the search function is a great way of sorting the wheat from the chaff. I hope I didn't sound like a search nazi it was not my intent

RE: Clone alloy a-arms
Thanks for the help. I am looking at used fg stuff on ebay as this hobby is costing me a fortune. Only started it in december and have a hyper 7, m18t and the comanche. The other half is getting a little narked at the expenditure. Loving my 1/5 though, its just so easy to start

RE: Clone alloy a-arms
The Carson MT has different a-arms than the rest of the bunch, and that includes the rear uppers. They're longer (about 11 mm) and the hole for the turnbuckle is at a different location. You may be able to use FG-style a-arms with some machining, but they're not a direct replacement and you will need longer turnbuckles as well.
All the other FG clones could use the alloy arms made for FG cars.
Btw, our parts compatibility list in English language is [link=http://www.rc-car-online.de/teilevergleich_or_eng.htm]here[/link], but it does not include those parts that are proprietary for the Carson MT as there are no replacements from FG for them.

Use the rear turnbuckles from the FG together with rear alloy arms............... they work
Use the rear turnbuckles from the FG together with rear alloy arms............... they work
I just checked.
- You could install the FG alloy a-arms as they are, but this will bind the lower a-arm and bring the turnbuckle much closer to the spur gear.
- You could remove about 5 mm from the rear of the alloy a-arm to prevent the binding and add spacers in front to fill the gap. But that way you would destroy the bushing in the a-arm. To do it correctly you would have to remove the bushing, shorten the a-arm, machine a new seat for the bushing and re-insert it.
- The FG turnbuckle has the same length as the Carson one and the FG a-arm is shorter than the Carson MT version. At the moment I'm not aware of another turnbuckle with the right length.

RE: Clone alloy a-arms
I am not going down the machining route as i have this hobby to get away from enginering. Looking at the arms they are still a fair way off the spur, i would be shocked if they flexed that much. Just have to wait and see. if i go through loads of spurs i will have to do something. BRING ON THE SUMMER!!!
