Default how to mount receiver

does anyone have pic's of how and where your receiver is mounted? i can't seem to figure it out. this is on a fg bigfoot. thanks.

I would recommend depending on the size of the receiver that you put something soft like foam tape in the box as well to protect the receiver from moving around. You will need to drill a hole the size needed for your wires to go through - The hole depends on # of wires - You may want to make it smaller and take off the ends to put the wires through the hole. Here are a few pics...

I had to move mine to make room for the front brake servo. I straddled mine accross the aluminum roll cage bars directly above the steering servo. I drilled two small holes in the bars and used #4 machine screws through the factory holes on the box to secure it to the bars. It works great and it's mounted up high out of the way of splashing water.

Here is how a fellow Rc´er named Mouton did it. Strapped to the bars with zipties.

Easy, no harm done to the bars and secure.

Do you mean the reciver itself or the box? If you mean the receiver then what I did was to stick it to the underside of the lid, then drill a 5mm hole in the base part of the receiver box on the 'step' bit for your wires to go through.
