RE: help needed please.
no worries mate. do you reckon i'd be better off going even lower on the gearing eg 14-50 or is that too much?
edit. just looked and cant get a 14-50 set so that answers that one.

RE: help needed please.
does that mean i have to change the diff ring gear and layshaft to get the same gearing as the mb/mt? or are the layshaft and diff ring the same as the marder meaning ive only got to change the pinion and main gear to a 16-48 set???

RE: help needed please.
cheers matt, just have to see how it goes, ive orderd the 16-48 pinion and spur. its been a mare converting this thing, just had a rite fook about with wheel squares to clear the jetpro cos they only do longer front axles. orderd 14mm all round and that means i can just get the nut on the rear standard axles using a very thin washer, it gives 5mm extra spacing so the monster wheels JUST clear the pipe by a nats, then using the elcon medium axles for the front cos the standard fronts are much shorter than the rears for some reason.
