13" tall 8" wide tires, 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steering with a 5,000 oz steering servo, 42.5cc zenoaha engine and to top it off a reversing transmission.... Ohhhh yea.

I love the Ferrari P330 and Ford GT onroad cars you have there. How often do you run your models?

I guess you don't bother with these 'new' toys from FG, Lauterbacher, MCD, etc. huh?

Thanks, the ferrari and GT40 are real special to me. The amount of "drive" time the cars get depends on their current condition and how rare they are or how hard it is to find parts for them.

I have had quite a few 1/5 and 1/6 cars in the past, but I got pretty bored with them. I really like the 1/4 scale. Plus a majority of the 1/4 scale stuff is tube frame design, just like the real cars and they look great without the body on them. The 1/5 and 1/6 stuff feels like the same old stuff in 1/8 scale to me, just with a gasoline engine in them.

I found a New Era Stadium truck and a QRS stadium truck, I can get both of them for $1200.00. Wish I had the cash to get them now, I'll just have to wait I guess.

Are you the one that asked about them before to me like 6 or so months ago? You should just get them, you could sell the pair for 3 times that.

Yea, thats one of the reasons too that I cant get into any of the 1/5, 1/6 stuff. Although that new 4x4 kit for FG looks almost ok.

Yup, that was me. I haven't got them yet becasue money is tight. Have 2 small children, getting ready to sell this house and buy a new house. I am also disabled, ( broken back 5 times and have had 2 spinal fusions) so money isn't exactly flowing out of my ears. I have thought about using my line of credit to get them, fix them up and sell them to make a profit. I still may just do that, just need to convince the wife I would be able to make money doing it.

holy cow man! Thats some crazy stuff! At least you are here. Buying a house is easy. Buying and selling a house at the same time is HEEEEEELLLL. We dont plan on moving for a long time now because its such a pain and stressfull.

Hang in there!

Yup, I am VERY lucky I'm not paralized, just almost always in pain. We already have the land, but it doesn't have well, septic or driveway. We are going to move an older mobile home I have on it and live in it until the new house is done. But we can't start anything until we sell this house, so where to live in between will be a pain.

If I bought those trucks, where would be the best place to try and sell them, Ebay or ? Also, sell them seperate or as a pair? I would appreciate any help beacause it would be sweet to be able to make a little extra money on the deal. The wife would probably even let me keep a little to buy more rc stuff for me.

EBAY has been getting in the $1500-2500 range for those models. But if you take them someplace where there are full size "enthusiasts", like a full size offroad race or car show you will probably be able to get in the $2500-$3000 range. These prices are EACH.

I'll work on convincing the wife tonight.

How do I go about getting them without getting screwed. I mean I don't want to send $1200.00 to someone and have him not send the trucks. Should I do it COD or ?

If they will do COD thats good. If not I find using paypal with a credit card that has protection does what I need. Just about the best way to go about it.

I will be visiting the in-laws the end of June, they live very close to where he lives. He says he works about 5 minutes from where my in-laws live. I could see if he will meet me and I could buy them and ship them home myself. that way I would know for sure they would make it to me.

I know, it would be sweet.

The new one is made by QRS and has a bunch of special options on it. I actually just bought another one, so now I will have 2 of those. But that one I just bought is stock. QRS only produced 20 of these trucks. The one I have in the picture is the last one produced.

I find that hard to believe, because then he would have to think that real trucks look like crap.

I wasnt saying that 1/5- 1/6 scale trucks look like crap, I was saying that the two trucks sitting on the floor in that pic look like crap!! the wheel wells dont even line up. I wouldnt pay 20.00 for those. But the on road cars on the shelf look beautiful.

They are MT's not street trucks.... The wheel wells rarely line up on MT's, the front tires are usually a little forward of the center of the wheel well. Look at any 1/8 or 1/10... even the FG MT and MB are like this.[&:]
