Default Weight of a upgraded alloy MT

I was surprized when I weighed this alloy MT to find out it weighs 45 lbs (21 kilos).[X(] with all the upgrades I did

Its almost like driving a 50 lb. sack of potaotoes heavy stuff

A all alloy lauterbacher supercross only weighs 1/2 of that 23-24 lbs......... I guess those 10 lb beedlock rims dont help

45 lbs[X(]Wont be doing much jumping with that! LOL That is the problem when we start adding all the alloy goodies.
Hope you don't hit anything while running full throttle with that. I would imagine it will leave a serious mark

You need the 29cc engine and fat pipe to get it to move from idle [:@]

I knew there was a good reason for me sticking with all this plastic

Wow! When I converted my Marder to a Hummer this winter it weighted about 31lbs! All alloy with some of the rollcage being plastic. It all starts to add up!! I think those of us who have had them for awhile know their limitations.

Thats quite a weight, still ,looks cool. Just a thought but over here UK BRCA 3rd party insurance wouldnt cover it, as they have a limit of 20kgs. Which dosnt matter untill it all goes horribly wrong [:@]

See ya

Thats some machine you have made their. As the saying Power to weight and weight kills performance. So with all that weight, have you noticed any different in performance, speed and acceleration?? I bet if you came up with a stock MT it am sure it would leave you for dust.
