Shocks?
I want to rebuild my rear shocks (again) on my XTM buggy.
Tower has the rebuild kit but not until late April, we all know that late April may be late June or July.
My Q is does anyone have a pair of rear FG off road shocks? old or new?
If not I will check RC nuts stock prices.
Thanks..

RE: Shocks?
You could go to Hobby People and see what the XTM Racing shock rebuild kit sells for. Be ready for a little sticker shock compared to Duratrax but if you have the need...

RE: Shocks?
I did not find an XTM shock rebuild kit anyway. There are shock parts but did not see o-rings or the small washer-looking retainer that packs the o-rings in tight.
I need to rebuild two of my shocks badly. The other two that I rebuilt previously are holding up suprisingly.
I would really like to spring for the FG alloy shocks with the alloy/o-ring pistons and threaded shock rods. This setup will set me back close to $200 so I am going to have to beat my old shocks for a while longer. Other upgrades have to come first.
Show us some pictures when you get the FG monster shocks on your buggy. As I understand it the clone shocks are 16mm diameter and the FG monsters are 20mm in diameter so it would be interesting to see how well they clear the clone suspension parts.
