concider how much your going to spend on hopping up your marder/leopard/beetle/whatever!
ive learned the hard/expensive way[:@]. its a great buzz and a proper hobby is racing.
i can really reccomend it if youve got the time and a track or two within a couple of hours of your home.
with the money ive spent hopping my marder race i could have bought a lauterbacher superX with the same money and been competitive at a world class level!!!!
there are a few 1/5-1/6 scales out there but these are the ultimate in engineering and design for winning races
check them out before taking the plunge and try to be long sighted if you think racing will float your boat.
http://www.rapid-racing.co.uk/produc...e=Lauterbacher Super
dont know if the link works!
if it doesnt just google lauterbacher super cross.
this is just my opinion after getting into racing and being blown into the weeds by these thoroughbreds everytime!
regards,
paul.

The only problem I see with the Lauterbacher at the moment is that they dont last in a race and you are forever replacing parts (drive shafts) some of the guys are changing them every 20 minutes.
