I'm using these.............

They are tripple rate springs which are quite plush but get progressivley harder the further they travel. So running on the flat gives a nice plush soft ride, but if you take any jumps they won't bottom out. Best of both worlds.

Note sure which FG you have but the MB springs are longer and thicker than the MT springs. I've had both and noticed it when I was cleaning them. You can also get on-road springs and cut one in half to make a progressive type shock.

Here's a pic:

Are thoe on road springs lighter? Do not do much if any jumping with it, run dirt oval and have way too much rear wheel hop with it, I dropped to 30 weight oil in the rear to see if that helps at all but still way firm.

FG has offroad springs for 16 mm diameter shocks that should fit your Firehammer shocks as well. Part numbers are 7210/1, 7210/2 and 7210/ 3 for the short (55 mm) version or 7211/1, 7211/2 and 7211/3 for the long (98 mm) version They're also available in sets of 6 (7210 for the short ones or 7211 for the long ones).
