See any video showing any other one's jumping? I sure don't. For them being around 12+ years why no bash video? All I've ever seen are lawn mowers and small jumps if they can even be called jumps.

I don't like to complain or put people down, but sorry man, that is a very crap video.
Everyone should save their time and not download it.
Why is it so hard to make a good RC video?....everyone I see is BS.
A for effort, F for achievement.

To say that other gassers can't do that is a lie. I have posted pics of my Marder doing similar jumps in a construction site. Not all of us have video cameras and I have seen vids on RCU of gassers doing some descent jumps. I am not a hardcore basher and even I will do jumps like Rubix was doing.... Not hardcore stuff, just routine fun. I am not bashing your vid Rubix or the Baja, I just don't like false perceptions being spread. It seems some people just look to start a fight

I'll admit that my FG Sedan can't do that (or at least as well), that my WCM 1/4 scale can't do that (or at least as well), or that my gas boat can't do that.

But the dirt was higher than the fence.

That would be nice for a change of pace in this forum. Will everyone just play nice and if anyone doesn't like anyone else's video, please keep the comments to yourself or better yet, just add your own video. Myself, I have some video of RCX but I just don't like dealing with video and if I posted video of my own driving, it wouldn't show the potential of the R/C anyway unless it was a video about endurance.

If i had a local hobby shop that had parts for my trav, i would probably be alot more wreckless with it, but for me a spare part is at least a week away, so i only do small jumps

cool vid by the way, at the start u didn;t quite have enough speed to clear it properly, but u had it down pat by the end

that was awesome rubix, making me jelous that I havnt got mine yet. Im still waiting to pick mine up from the hobby store (on order). Cant wait to get some air with this buggy.

I cant believe how popular the Baja is becoming. I think everyone here should play nice and repect each others R/C's. I think HPI will do really well with the Baja and I hope that after this, they continue 1/5th scales. Lets hope they bring out a Onroad?

Keep those vids comin! I'll be sure to get mine up here as soon as the Baja arrive

Thanks Doohan, that has covered from 1/2 to 3/4. Anyone got a report on 3/4 to the end? Many thanks for the help with this.

My gas boat has done that more than once, but never landed that nicely. And my Bergonzoni sedan has never been that high, but close, it was upsidedown at the time!@!!

Awsome Video
Nevermind what some say on here, the majority love seeing any gassr vids.
I jump my MT on the same sort of BMX jump as that one, and at first was very hessitant to giver the nuts, and I would actually crash worse because you case the second jump and horrible things then happen..lol At least if you land on the downslope its not as bad for the parts.

Anyhow, keep posting vids

I could just LISTEN to a gasser.lol

Simply put, he starts clearing the double time after time again.

If you plan to pick on nitro jumping, you may want to consider posting some videos first because the 1/8th scale nitro buggies I own and have seen on the track will out jump the large scale vehicles in any video I have yet to see posted on this thread or elsewhere. My alloy T-Maxx is another story, but there are also the larger 1/8th scale nitro monster trucks and truggies. Truggies--a sort of cross between an MT and a buggy. They are quicker off the line, can take a beating, parts are easier to find around here, and are raced around here on tracks with doubles, triples, table tops, etc. And of course, there is the video of the 1/8th scale buggy jumping the house around here as well. And no, the jump isn't as high as the house. In my opinion, there are different types of R/Cs for different applications and though gasoline/oil mix R/Cs do have their advantages, there are also disadvantages or "cons" when compared to others outside its application.

Now, those stunts may have made some nice videos.

Can't compare Nitro and Large scale jumping for sure. I was out yesterday with some friends shooting some film with Jeff from XXXMain. Some of the things the guys did were nuts. There's no way I'd launch my Leopard Race off a ramp over a football post!!!
His next DVD will be even better the the others!

Good job![sm=thumbup.gif]

Think it would take me that long before I could get the guts enough to go all out. How many questions did you get from the bikers before you could keep camera rolling?
Keep'em coming.....

I copied and pasted into the Video Post hope you don't mind?

P.S. Don't mind those who dislike what they wish they could do![sm=spinnyeyes.gif]

hellya - Copied yours too.

sorry.. i allways seems to be missunderstod:P what i meant were that we shoudl stop picking on gasers and start picking on nitro instead:P
i've seen a video of a FG jump high.. and land.. and drive away.. but.. i kinda just think it's silly.. making nice jumps and landings it what i aim for (like in the vid)
not bashing the truck.. then i would steal a savage:P
