yup but only a plastic sleeve the end that goes around the shaft and pin. as i understand it, the reasoning is you dont have to replace the entire shaft, but just the ball sleeve when wearing occurs and is also supposed to help reduce wear on the cups. time will tell.

but the baja comes stock with CV boots... which means u can fill them with grease... which means there wouldn;t be any wearing issues....??

boots yes, but at least stock it appears they are not filled. or at least its not been mentioned. wont get mine for 2 days yet. also heard a few boot tears, mostly due to sticks or stones so nothing new there. but i have thought about putting some greese in. with the boots it sure shouldnt hurt anything. the ca the boot to the cup or maybe a strong rtv so it easier to take off should i need to

Yes the boots are filled with grease. They fit into a groove in the drive cups, so no ca is required.

i mentioned ca or rtv cuz they will spin off in some conditions or over time, its inevitable. which is not a biggie, but if it does, you ll get sand and crap into the greese, a lil ca or rtv will eliminate that unless the boot fails.
