need rear end info
Im once again stumped... I cant find a rear end that resembles the one on this car: http://cgi.ebay.ca/WCM-34-Ford-1-4-S...QQcmdZViewItem
Scroll down and click the underside rear shot of car.
Im sorry for the link, but I cant find out there technical name to google and only found one pic in ebay ... I first saw this rear end in a 1/4 scale outlaw style race car.
If someone had a link to a store that sold these, or info as to what there out of (ie: lawntractor, rototiller, custom fab only...) I would greatly appreciate it, cuz its driving me nutz, lol.
Thankx.

The Skellenger and New Era quick change rerends are long gone, every once and a while you can find one for sale , but they carry a large price tag.
There is a guy in Austraila that still makes quick change and worm gear rear ends, I think the name of his company is Bullet race cars.
If you go on Quarterscalelegends.com look thru his links of different websites, you might find a link to Bullet race cars.
Try this link and do some searching www.luddenhamquarterscalespeedway

RE: need rear end info
Thanks for your help guys. I guess I will hafta go with a chain or belt drive system since the 1/4 rear diff isnt available or affordable, lol.
Too bad thow, I would have really like to have a real rear end to drive my future truck... Now it will look like an ATV... well I guess I will make it look like an ATV, rider and all!
Im building from scratch. I have 16 different engines to use, I got a custom fab chassie, I got big wheeles, electronics, I just need front end suspentions/steering and rear end to start assembly. Body will be last.
Any other build info would help aswell, so keep the sugestions rolling.

Here is the link to that rear http://www.quarterscalelegends.com/seco.html Like said above nobody makes them anymore and when they come up for sale they run in the $700-$1000 range for one. You could go for an industrial gear box... look on ebay, one input and 2 output shafts.
