I have been using the Honda Pro oil HP2 @ 25:1 mixture using 87 octane and my buggy rips(the 29cc kitted engine) and the same in the stocker as well (23cc CY engine)

I recently aquired a DA-100 in a AW Extra 260. The motor just finished break in on lawn boy 32:1. I called Jeff at Desert Aircraft and asked what oil to start running in this thing if he had Amsoil Saber 100:1. BelRay H1R 50:1 or RedLine Racing Oil 40:1 and he stated that he would use the RedLine Racing Oil.

How much oil a engine needs is pretty much dependent on the RPM a engine makes. The higher the RPM, the more oil it should have generally. Thats why Zen suggests 25:1 I am sure. I run 28:1 with Maxima Castor 927. I allways liked castor oils, but in the old days they could get pretty gummy (and actually gum a ring in a piston groove). But this oil is a castor/synthetic blend, and runs pretty clean with good jetting and fuel mix. This oil has a high flash point compared to a lot of other oils, and I think it can handle the heat a bit better than most. But that is just my opinion. Oil is a personal preference, and there are a lot of good oils out there. It seems, when you find a oil you like, you tend to stick with it.
Here is a neat little measuring cup that measures any ratio you want for 1, 1.5, 2, and I think 2.5 gallons. Liters may be on there too, I am not sure. I would not mix without it.

4-stroking is where a2-stroke is rich enough that it actually fires on every other "up" stroke instead of every "up" stroke. ( up stroke=compression stroke)

I am using Motul oil. It is 100% synthetic oil for 2 stroke engine and it is absolutely wonderful, it is used for racing by Subaru

belray H1R mixed at 32:1, 40 tanks now on my obr 27'2 full mod, one re ring at 30 tanks and still has all the machining lines on the piston, bore is immaculate..in other words the piston and cylinder look like new,bore and piston mic' d same as new also. good thing is belray changed the colour of the oil ,used to be piss yellow which was hard to see in the tank and also hard to tell if from regular gas out the can, now it's red so much easier to see in your tank and you know you're not chucking straight gas in it...after a few beers it's very handy, could never tell before if i'd mixed it or not, now i can see even if i've had a few

You people are getting me sick, there is only (1) BEST oil you will ever use in your 2 stroke (modified) motors, KLOTZ BENOL.

Hey Guys, I have an FG F1 w/ Zenoah (Komatsu) 28cc engine. I found a 2-year old bottle (1 quart) of Evolution blended oil with an additive called ZX-7.
I am not sure it would be safe to use it anymore as lubricant oils for 2-strokes are unstable and deteriorate over time. I notices what used to be teal color pigments
are absorbed by the plastic bottle, leaving the oil now clear and colorless.
I have used Klotz last year and liked it. But just wanted to get your advise before I threw out the Evolution oil.
