RE: Front uprights
i know your going to think its prolly irrelevant, its not! but what i seen racing, the elcon and fg are very closely matched! my breother races and runs elcon and they have bent! i am running fg and have also bent! neithjer of us have triedf to straighten the arms, and have adjusted the track rod ends to compensate. i will add , that the bending happend to us early in the season.neither of us even attempted to hot bend the arms back into place, as this will weaken them significantly! you will notice that you bend the lefts faster than the right!!
in our opinion it doesn't matter which you run
( as long as its the later fg arms) cheaper the better in this case.

The FG front alloy upright parts are better than the Elcon parts in design, look and quality/finish. The FG alloy upright also has a steering stop whereas the Elcon one does not.

Just a reminder that fg unprights also use regular ABEC bearings (used in rollerblades) The Elcon ones use smaller bearings which also saves some weight. Pros and cons!

I have mounted FG Steering stops on mine.
