Default BIG Market for Large Scale RC ???

Hi,

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but it related to large scale rc

I have been thinking lately about the market for large scale rc, and was wondering what others think of it compared to rc as a whole( eg: nitro cars, electric cars, petrol cars)

Would there be a market for just large scale rc in the uk, eg: a website or shop, just specialising in selling large scale cars, (fg, carson, mcd, and all the spares and hopups that go with them)

So whats you views ?

any comments are helpful

thanks

Nizmo

My main thing that I was going for is there a big enough market for largescale RC in the uk. Like the US largescalerc.com website, . Now is there a big enough market in the uk for a uk version of it ? Other than the websites that sell large scale as well as nitro cars ,electric, etc

King kobra I think Only sell to retailers, then the retailers sell to the public.

Well, do some market research (which you kinda are now) do a business plan and see if it works out. Remember, business plans are great for many reasons. Obviously you will have a thorough plan for the business, but sometimes after you are finished with the plan you might realize that it's not worth it, or that it would work but you don't think it is for you. If it's the later, you can sell the plan! There is always someone looking to start a business but wants to buy the plan. You will need this plan to obtain a start up loan from a bank, they don't like to lend on half baked ideas. Although I have seen some banks give a business loan without one, but they were lending a very small amount.
OK, enough of that, [sm=49_49.gif] lets get back to rc. If you do need more info let me know.

Your about 5 years to late........there are plenty of UK stores/websites and plenty of US stores/websites they carry the 1/5 scale vehicles and parts

www.rossendalemodels.co.uk/
www.sbracing.co.uk
www.kingcobra.co.uk/

I think you can buy direct from kingcobra ....KP designs states on their home page "their products can only be purchased through king cobra or their agents
