Indoors is excellent especially with ugly weather now starting here. We have a huge indoor race in november here in Holland, many lads from the UK will come, Frenchmen, Belgian and German drivers already all signed up. At 120 drivers the entry list will be closed, it is now open just 3 days or so and more than 60 signed in. It's gonna be fun again
Indoors are cool.
All the horses out and some RCl horsepower in

These things are great!! I bought one from radio shack for my son he's 4 and can fly very well. The funny thing is, once he's in bed at night I fly that thing all over the house while while sitting in the living room.

I'll tell you what, it certainly helps with your rc skills especiall trying to land on the dinning room table while on the couch 40ft away!

I spent close to $200 for my first heli and it is now in a box in pieses waiting on parts and the desire to crash it again.
This small cheap heli is so simple and fun.

The small electric heli's without a tail rotor fly alright, they aren't a handful like the ones with a tail rotor. It's easier to fly a nitro heli than a electric once you learn the basics. Just the cost of the nitro is more around $750 to start out.

What is the flight time on a little chopper like that? [sm=confused.gif] I just bought a simulator for RC planes and helicopters, but I have not had any stick-time with the real thing, yet............this could be my first step away from the computer.

Icecreamslick, its been awhile since that name has been here.
20 min charge, from the controller will give about a 10 to maby 15 min flight time.
Its a very small step into r/c heli. but its almost unbreakable. its fallen 50 or so feet from the sky and still running.

Its been a while since I was on this forum (My latest obsession is 1:16 Tamiya tanks), but I'm going to be in the market for another 1:6 scale gasser, so I'm reading and researching. I hate the thought of staring a newby thread like, Which truck is better?! My first thought is that the HPI Baja is working out well for most people and it is in an easier price range, but now I am leaning more toward a 4WD, instead.........and damn the price. [8D]

There IS a tail rotor.
The tail rotor is useless with counter rotating blades. That's what is offsetting the torque spins so common to heli's. Not the tail rotor. E-Flight make one called a Blade CX, same basic thing counter rotating blades make it more stable and alot less prone to massive rotations.

OHH shiser! hahahaha! that is funny but sad all in one![:'(]

The other vid of the indoor plane is great, that pilot is very good. I haven't seen that much control in a while, but he is probabley using a gyro. Still great video.
