newbie!
thinking of getting an onroad rwd 1/5 to run some parking lots and possibly race.been into 1/0 and smaller cars for a while and really want a 1/5.
Im thinking of either a Bergonzoni or the HARM electric one. ive read that the bergonzoni are the best for their price. i am kinda on a budget and want a reliable and durable car that can perform okay but still wont burn the wallet.
anyone know where i can order one of these online? Leaning toward the Bergonzoni. which do you recomend among the bergonzoni's?
are their cars able to keep up with higher end cars like those fg's?
anyone know of any places to get parts or race in the US, particularly northern California if possible?
how long do onroad tires generally last?
how do these 1/5 cars fair in the rain and wet conditions?
thanks

RE: newbie!
right now the only Bergonzoni Dealer in the USA ( or this contenant as far as i can tell ) deals strictly in the F1 line. Raco in europe can get them, as well as a few UK dealers.
check their site. www.bergonzoni.it they have an english version with world dealers listed. only the GBF1 site in the states as i said above can get them new. the Bay offers some nice bergs from time to time too.

This model comes from Carson RTR with installed rc-system, a tunedpipe, factory painted body shell, decals are already applied.
3 different body colors/styles to choose from..... Thats the best deal I have found for a New RTR Onroad Car[sm=thumbup.gif]
The FG sportsline ( Fgs onroad base model) is $800-825 .....no body, no radio system or tuned pipe.......... that all costs extra[X(]
Check out the links below, some of the better prices in the USA but still more $$$
These prices include a Dealer MARKUP/// they purchase the sportlines for about $600 from the US Sole FG Importer, then sell them for 35% more or $810..... or the suggested reselling price the main importer sets... they cant sell or advertise on the net for less or they get cut off .

RE: newbie!
A regional hobby shop here on the east coast called Hungates has some Bergonzoni on-road cars for sale in their store. They have a web site but there does not appear to be any Bergonzoni products listed.
Here's the contact info for the local store in my town:
Hungate's
Four Seasons Town Centre
High Point Road
Greensboro, NC 27407
(336) 854-1471
The employees at the store are not very RC savvy so you may have to know exactly what you are looking for to get the answer you want.
Good Luck,
Ken
