stupid question... needing help
anyone know whats the size of the "E" clip that holds the spur gear in place ?? lost mine and thought i had some spares, turns out the dont fit. I wanna goto the hardware store and get some but bringing the truck in for measurement is kinda rediculous.

The shaft is 10mm ,so just ask your helpful hardware man for one that will fit that size. Usually you can take the part out to your car to try it before you buy it, at least my hardware store will let me as long as you tell them what you are doing so that they don't think that you are trying to steal something.

the shaft is 10mm but you might need 8mm E clips. depends on how they sell em/measure them.
when i got some they gave me '8mm' clips.
