Wich 1 to buy HPI Baja or the Duratrax Firehammer
I am in the middle of selling my tc3+ and am looking into a cheaper gas car so im going to petro cars, wch 1 is better to buy and wich 1 will have less probems? thanks in advance, It would also be nice if someone could tell me the cheapest placeto buy them from. thanx again

Get a Baja from Tower, great deal right now.... read the first few pages of threads here and you will get a lot of info on both models. Pick which you like best, I own a Marder and am happy, but would not mind getting a baja too. Just remember, searching is your friend.

Try to locate a club or even RCU members in your area to see if you can try both 1st. hand, I have both, the FH is kinda hopped up, the baja has a pipe and 260. I don't favor either one right now, there are both great to play with. Both have great parts support in the US. As for going gas, to me it's the way to go!! No more tuning everytime you go out to play, $6.00 worth of gas and oil mix(1gal.) vs. $30.00(1gal.)
for nitro. Zenoah230/260 engines run $150.00-250.00- that same money will buy you a mid to low-high end nitro engine. I personally have sold most of my small scale stuff and have'nt had any regrets about it.
Either way one you decide make sure you let us know and post pics and vids.! Good luck and happy hunting!

Hard call ..
But either way its a 1/5 scale and that is never a hard call.
I have the XTM buggy which is the same as the Firehammer and its great but the Baja is a brute also.

hmmmmm.....wich 1 would brake more often ...i seen duratrax has the 1 year guarantee for the parts casue its like flexstrong warranty or something

fyi, hpis warrenty term is 2yrs as opposed to the typical one yr or less offered by most other companies.
