Has Any One
[sm=confused.gif] Hi all, Has any one tried to put the FG MT5 Tires on the FG ST Rim's. I know that the ST rim's are not as wide as the MT5 one's, If so how did it work out?

RE: Has Any One
HI hndaman1, Yep I figured I would get some more stuff to collect dust. LOL Yes I finally got a set of beadlock's & there are for the FG ST. I like the offset to make the MT5 have a wider wheel base. I hate to spend the $$$ for the MT5 tires if they are to wide for the rim's! I was just wondering if any one had did it & if it worked out ok? If not I will get the ST tires & regear. I wish FG had more to offer in the tire line up for these RC's! Thanks,

As long as the bead is the same diameter you will have no trouble getting them mounted, but your handling will suffer. Being more narrow it will allow the side wall to flex and roll more in the turns.

You wish FG had more tires, welcome too our world we have ZIPPO unless you buy the crappy adapters and run 40 series, or mod 40 series tires to fit the stock wheels atleast FG has tires out there

What are you on about, FG has a selection of tyres for their RC's. From MT tyres , Stadium Tyres, to Slicks and that just for the Monster Series. Then there's off road buggies tyres and then on road tyres.
