battery pack for fh
I need anew battery pack for my hammer any suggestion with the exact serial # or part #from tower would be appreciated.
Not just anyone will work because of that little adapter connection to connect to the reciever correct or am I mistaken?
forgot to mentian that I wanted to upgrade to the 3000nim packs

not sure on this, but i think its a flat 5cell sub c pack wiht the tamiya end. though i cant remember for sure as ive never realy checked my buddys FH to see.

I use a Venom 3000mah pack and it will last for several tanks of fuel between charges.
Tower has this listed on the parts list for the Firehammer as a hop-up its $50 Part # lxmty4
The Venom was about $29

I bought mine from http://www.pythonmotorsports.com they have a 5cells 3000 pack that was a great deal, and they have FREE SHIPPING

Luckily Duratrax uses a completely standard three position connector on the Firehammer battery pack to plug into the switch and receiver pack. Nothing proprietary about it at all.
In my Firehammer I use a Python Motorsports 3000 mAh NiMH pack. It has the standard RX pack connector that plugs into the receiver/switch. It also has the standard Tamiya connector for easy charging. The pack sells for $25.
