Default MCD. Too much or.....?

Hi! I'm new to gassers, but not new to the hobby. I have been reading everybody's posts and comments for about a month and I feel like I know you guys already.

I currently own about a dozen or so nitro vehicles and hope to change all that. I ordered an MCD MT from LargeScaleRC & it will be here tomorrow night. (BTW, Scott and Troy were excellent!)

I orderd the pro-line truck, a 30.5cc ported & reeded engine, and a jetpro silenced pipe. My question is, am I going to tear this truck apart with the power of this engine(depending on my driving) or will it be OK? I ask because of the problems that Bryan has had with his. I know that my diffs are different but do you know if it will still be an issue?

I think that the engine is an Oneilbrothers engine. Is this also known as an ESP, or are they different affiliations?

Thanks original.mb. I am at work now and can hardly keep my mind on my work. I am so excited! I have the rest of this shift and another 12 hour shift tomorrow before I even get to look at it. [sm=cry_smile.gif]

Do you need to cut holes in the MT's body for airflow like the nitro vehicles?

for some reason the computers here at work will not show your pics, when I get home I will look again. Thanks! I have been painting bodies for a few years now for my pals at my LHS. I can always pick out the flaws but they seem to be OK with them. I'm always trying to find new ideas. I just messed around with the raindrop look on a sheet of lexan and it turned out pretty good.

I paid around $2600 including the servos. I will use my Futaba 3pk and spectrum system, so the radio is not included in that price.

ESP is it's own company. I port and modify engines for DDM and for individuals. I don't do any engine work for O-Bros.

I put in the radio gear, pipe, and air cleaner. Other than that, it was built. Now I have to configure a battery for it.-nate

did you get your linkages figured out .on mine nate i have a 3600 pack strapped to the rear of the front bulkhead there is not much room in the battery box .but if you want to run a hump pack , you can cut outthe piece of plastic in the battery box to give you more room.just keep in mind you want a good battery with a lot of juice to power those big servoes.
