Default I WANT ONE!!!!! Where can i find an inexpensive MT?

Ok so i want one of the Big ***** trucks. I have quite a few Nitro trucks, GSt 7.7, Savage SS 4.6, Savage 25 and a few electrics. But these trucks look awesome!! I was just worried they were slow, but after watching some videos, that cleared that up fast!
So i WANT a 4 wheel drive, BUT do i really need 4 w drive? 2 wheel drive is cheaper and i can't justify spending a ton of money so i'd like to spend under $1,000.00. Cheaper then that would be better!!!
So where is the best place to buy a MT?
I want a cheaper one, not a cheap one, just inexpensive.
I definately want a monster truck! No baja buggy or anything like that, i'm a MT guy!

How does it compaire to the other trucks? How fast is it etc?
How much does it cost to get new chrome wheels, and a better looking actual truck body like the MCD or FG body styles?

I've always found that cash works the best. One of my LHS that carry's FG doesn't charge me tax if I pay with cash. When myself and Chop Suey bought his FG MT we saved over $250.

If there is no discount by paying cash/interac then just charge it to VISA or MC.

Go to a US dealer for a FG. In fact RCNuts is down the road from you in NJ.

this is total junk.this is what everyone is talking about.look at the small shocks.....how can those hold up the giant scale under jump load.and the wheels are horrible too.

you just cant cut out $$$$ from quality.you just cant.either save and spend the big bucks or constantly look for good used trucks on ebay, here on this site or your local hobby shop if they carry them.

So have you ever owned one or just considered it crap because it appears to be a knock off of the precious FG? I also own a fg but i am not going to say its total junk, Its the same truck as the xtm grizzly, xtm grizzly is i believe 674.99 at hobby people locally here lacking electronics. Duratrax/xtm/ect all were the same truck as the FG and were actually sued by FG because per copyrights you have to have minimum 10% diffrence in products to not be ingringed.(From what I have heard) Granted the zenoah is much better motor in the fg compared to the one that comes in that truck, Plastic is also not as flexible and forgiving as that in the FG, and the shocks are not that small, they work just fine. One thing they are is coilover unlike the shocks on the fg stock. And the last main diffrence is cheaper electronics than you would want, takes alot of torque to turn thoes big tires and stop roughly 29 lbs of truck. I have been told most fg parts will fit on thoes trucks as well, so if you break something you can replace it with FG better plastic.

I like you also wanted to get away cheap, my total ended up being 1600, and thats for the hitec 333oz throttle servo, and 270oz 1/4scale hitec servo, spectrum dx3 and reciever, 5 cell battery pack with charging port, and chrome moly spur gear.

I figure if im gonna get into this side of this hobby, I may as well do it right.

FG vehicles have some better quality parts than the clones out there
but that does not justify the high price difference or does it ??
The distributor in the U.S.A. must be doing well. [:@][:@]
I buy FG because of their reputation as a manufacturer who has been
in the market for a long time and parts availability and hop-ups
are very easily had. [8D]
