Default NOOBS,beware of stuff like this

I know a lot of newbies ask before buying,but please don't buy something like this and expect to be happy with it.First of all,this is not 1/5 scale that we here are running.It is not even gas.Don't be fooled with crap like this.Look at the sellers name.It seems that he got what he asked for.He should change his name to Crapselling.I'm sorry,but this is real junk.Just beware of stuff like this.

It looks more like 1/8 scale to me. He doesn't even give a make and model. You have to be a fool just to bid on it.

That's actually a 1/10 nitro buggy. It should be reported to the folks at ebay for fraud.

The info is pulled directly from the smartech site. I don't know if they're selling the 1/10 or the 1/5th scale in the add.

Don`t see how an .18 engine could push a 1/5 scale model!

The specs are for a 1/10 model. 400mm total length = 16 inches including rear wing

And here are some of the funniest break-in and operating directions i have ever seen.He claims it is a nitro engine and then at bottom of instructions it says to refer to the g230 rc manual.This crap is all fraud.I think i will report this fool

The process of cleaning before driving your car:
for cleaning the engine,1-2 tank oil's use is a standard,and then run your car slowly to run out of another 1-2 tank oil,all ways down,the cleaning work is over,the car can run normally;
2. Turning on the transmitter and the receiver:
extend the antenna of the transmitter and the receiver,and then switch on the transmitter and the receiver in succession;
while switching on the receiver,make sure the carburetor is at the neutral position.
3. Fill the fuel:
fill the special model's fuel,and mix the gas and the lubricating oil,the rate of the gas to the lubricating oil is 25:1;
close the fuel tank's cover and fasten it after it after filling the fuel.
4. Starting the engine:

push the front valve several times until securely streaming out oil;
shut down the wind gate,and turn the accelerograph to the position that spaces 1/4-1/3 place of opening;
pull the pulling-start rod until engine send out sound of start to start engine
adjust the wind gate to the place which spaces 1/4 poistion of opening position;
pull the pulling-started rod quickly;
start engine several minutes to prewarm.
5. Stop the engine:
the engine will immediately stop running as long as you press the stall switch of the engine,please refer to the instruction manual(g230 RC) for more details

Guys there is also two threads in this forum where they state that the
Smartech Tornado is a 1/6 scale when it is only 22 ins. long and those
of us who are familiar with nitro mt's know that is 1/8 scale. [8D]
