SPORTLINE TRUCK WON'T START
Hey guys i attempted to fire up this baby for the first time and i could
have yanked the pull stater to Thy kingdom come but it refused to start.
I noticed that gas was spitting out of the exhaust and when i took out
the plug i saw no blue flame even when i put in another one nada.
The fuel lines are full of gas and the primer bulb is also full so what is the
problem out of all the gas vehicles i have owned i never had any problems
anyway there is always a first.
I am counting on you great bunch of guys to help me sort this out. [8D]
Thanks in advance.

RE: SPORTLINE TRUCK WON'T START
Sorry for the break but we had a power outage. [:@][:@]
Anyway i did all the above and still no cigar.
I am still noticing gas spitting out of the exhaust and i see two lines to
the carb instead of the usual one.One of them is always full of gas but
the other one has some at bottom and a little in the middle but none at top.
What next guys.

RE: SPORTLINE TRUCK WON'T START
sounds like its flooded.pull the plug let it air out and try again.[&o] also flip the truck over and get the gas out of the bottom of the crankcase.you can even take a dry rag and hold it over the plug hole and pull the cord a few times to help get the excess gas out.prime maybe once or twice.

RE: SPORTLINE TRUCK WON'T START
Thanks but i already thought of that because with the onroad vehicles the engine
is mounted at a different angle than offroad so i took off the intake and observed
the choke when it is closed and open. The exhaust can almost touches the chassis
as in the following link.

You know guys i did not even know you had another hose leading from
carb to tank being tank return hose but i saw it on my stadium truck
and after examining it i feel that maybe the lines are crossed on sportline
truck so i will switch them and see.[8D]

[8D]Hi huw4027, When you push the primer bulb do it just enough to get the gas there & no more! If you heep pushing it after the gas is there it will flood it out.

RE: SPORTLINE TRUCK WON'T START
I don't think it is the oil mixture because that same mixture was used in my
stadium truck and also Baja and they started easy.
I am going to let it air out thoroughly and after work when i go home i will
try to start it and if it still does not start i will remove carb and replace it with
one i have on my 29cc motor that is sitting on ice.
