Stock radio in Baja or M8 or ??

Stock radio in Baja or M8 or ??
Is anyone using any other radio besides the stock HPI radio? I was planning on installing an Airtronics receiver so that I could use my M8 radio but I noticed that I would need to trim the stock servo plugs to make it fit. I would also lose the fail safe device that seems to be built into the stock receiver. Has anyone done this or should I just stick with the stock radio?

I am running the nomadio react in my baja and I had no fitting issues. Airtronics makes a mini receiver that should fit in there no problem. As for a failsafe, you will have to add one to it.
