CARB WONT SUCK FUEL

Default CARB WONT SUCK FUEL

MY FG TRUCK WITH A G26 WAS RUNNING GOOD THE IT JUST QUIT RUNNING AND NOW IT WON'T PULL FUEL IN TO THE PRIME BULB .ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS.

you may need a carb rebuild kit... take apart your carb and see if there's any ruined gaskets or diaphrams.

I ALREADY CHECKED IT OUT THE CARB LOOKS NEW THE TRUCK ONLY HAS A GAL. OF FUEL THROUGH IT .

take the black line off the carb, hold your finger over the line and press the bulb to see if you feel any suction. if not the prob is in the carb. if you have suction you have a glogged line or fuel filter... have you tried that yet?

when you take the black line off and pump the bulb fuel comes out like the bulb is pushing air in the fuel tank

yeah... unscrew the bulb on the carb and there will be a gasketand very thin diaphram... i'd make sure that diaphram is clean enough to see through. thats the only thing i can think of... i dout your lines are hooked up backwards... yellow top black bottom right?

did you check the carb to make sure nothing got stuck in one of the jets like a peice of trash?????

I had that problem with my Baja. Problem: The fuel line slid under the air filter and got pinched!!

I PUT MY FRIENDS CARB ON IT AND IT STILL WON'T START I MIGHT OF HURT THE MOTOR.

is your compression alright or did you rupture the piston..is the head gasket damaged????

hard to diagnose thise problem.. he only has 1 gal. through the truck.. he never mentioned if her was able to get fuel to the motor with his friends carb.
