Default Steel roll cage for the FH or marder?

Steel roll cage for the FH or marder? Anyone have this? I seen like 2 versions on e-Bay a while back, I think it was on the Euro site. 1 was a 1/2 cage and the other was a full cage like the stock one. Anyway if you have it how do you like it?

Default RE: Steel roll cage for the FH or marder?

I've seen it and it's not cheap. a few years back a friend made part of one for me. It was nice but not durable. The only part that is fine to change is the center portion. Keep the front and rear sides plastic and the rest can be changed to aluminum. This is the main reason you don;t see may of these around. Plus for $15 you get a full replacement. Alot of FG guys get the firehammer set since one of the rear side is the same cost. I also fine it's thinker in some areas. The may be slight variations but nothing a drill and drill bit will not fix.

i think a full rollcage is expensive and overkill, monster ideas make some alloy struts for the main parts of the cage that really need reinforncement 6 + they a super cheap compared to the price of those full cages your talkin about. i got my alloy struts from www.sbracing.co.uk
