Thats a tough one. I would lean more towards the Baja.
Reasons = 1.) Price for an RTR is unbeatable 2.) Suspension is awesome 3.) Parts are plentyfull

I have both. I have been using the Baja more often. In fact I may be selling my FG to fund some mods for the Baja.

You can get the Baja well under 1250 dollars
You could get a Outerwears pullstart filter and carb pre-filter and maybe a steel steering servo gears also.

They are both good vehicles but the Baja 5b comes RTR and is a good deal
cheaper. If you wanted to get a FG truck RTR you would need a minimum of about
$1400.00.[8D]

the Fg's will cost you alot more but it comes down to your liking and budget .. both RC's will need repairs and parts supply should take into factor aswell ..
i myself like my FG MB .
either one you'll have a hoot with

You might as well start out with the Baja, then down the road buy an MT. Gassers are like crack for the RC enthusiast.

ive bought a baja an info what extra stuff to do when i get it out the box

i bought a firehammer buggy and in jan and it was sold about two weeks ago got a Baja in feb and have been running every sat and sun from the time i got it.
only thing i have replaced on the Baja is the bolt that holds the pinion gear on.
did that because every body said they were brakeingand they needed to be replaced.

BUY the Baja and never look back.

Now I have a FG Leopard Race which seems 5Xs better.
