RE: fibreglass shell
I have heard they are harder to paint as you need to prep the surface and obvisouly you have to paint the outside so more prone to scratches.

RE: fibreglass shell
I've got a fibre glass shell on my marder looked really nice and the painting took a bit longer but looked really good with loads of laquer the only problem was 20 mins of bashing landed on my roof and smashed the shell to bits. but it does live on with a few cable ties in the right places. would not buy one again.
