Replacement 1/6th - 1/5th bodies ? MEGATHREAD
We all have the stock bodies that come with our trucks, cars and buggies. They eventualy get trashed, smashed, cracked, dinged, spindled, mutilated or otherwise obliviated somehow, and we need a new one.
SO, where do we go ? what do we get ?
Other than OEM bodies for the MG MT and Stadium truck, Hummer, VW Beatle, Buggies and whatnot, what else is there ?
I'd personaly love a Dodge Durango shell or ....or... or Van that I can paint like the Lunchbox from Tamiya.

Good luck with the search for a replacement body. With the exception of a company called New Bright, ur basically stuck with what FG has to offer.
The New Bright company I mentioned, makes an electric 1/6th scale truck in many different styles. Only thing with that is ur going to have to convert it to fit the gas 1/5th scales(which isnt that hard). Heres mine ............

they make toy-grade giant scale rc trucks, if you go to your local toy shop you should be able to spot them easily if theyre being carried, big truck in a flashy looking box...

Sorry I dont have any pics of how I mounted it. And my digi-cam is broken. All I can say is that I used the 1/8scale Ofna Body mount kit. There are 2 mounts shaped like the front body posts that I used. Again sorry , no pics available at the moment.
