Drag raced my buddy. i installed the 18 tooth and he has the stock 17 tooth. We normally run very even. Whoever can keep it straight will take the win. well it seems that the 18 made the power a little smoother. I was able to take off a bit straighter than before. Not a huge difference, but enough to notice and be happy with. It made enough difference that our 50/50 odds shifted to my favor. i was able to take 9 out of 10 runs this time. The extra speed up top was helping. The extra 2-3 miles and hour is very noticable when driving side by side. I dont think I would have noticed the speed as much if I wasnt able to run with another at stock gearing. Suns back out, gotta go bash the baja.......

I used the old spur gear, but if I had a new one I would have used it. I couldnt wait to run it, so I only installed the pinion. Works fine.
