CHeck out our rides
Me and TIG had a little bash session at the BMX track today. Had a great time with only minor carnage to the vehicles . My truck is the Hammer with the desert truck body. It has a Jetpro pipe and an FG Adjustable alloy diff. TIG'S rides are a HPI Baja and an FG leopard w/ a 30.5cc monster in it. I ended up with a shorted out battery(strange), and I lost both exhaust manifold bolts AGAIN [&o] lol. TIG blew out a hub on the LEO, but it was fixable, and snapped the bolt on the pinion of the BAJA, not fixable without an easy-out[&o]. We had a great time and will have to bash again before I leave for Illinois in 2 weeks. Hopefullly I'll get some action pics the next time.

Problem is, as I said, I'm moving in 2 weeks. Gonna have to to find some guys in the Aurora IL area to bash with. It is definitely more fun trying to chase down a 30.5 cc leopard, than just running alone.

HEEEEEY There they are. I had a great time.
Its funny, I've never seen my cars on the computer before. You can see the wheel on my other pride and joy
My guys are ready to go. Fixed my Baja when I got home.
I agree, its better to have someone to chase or be chased than run alone.
big,
We deffinately have to get another session in before you move.

THe diff is working out great, I tore up the gear on it, and when I replaced it I packed the diff with alot of grease, so that helps too. I have it pretty close to locked right now and when I put the MCD tractor tires on it, it is going to seriously tear up some grass lol

Like I said in another post, you can buy some plastic spacers for 20 cents a piece at the hardware store. No cutting involved, and they work great.

You didnt have to do anything about raising the motor also?? i have that aluminum triangle peice that connects to my motor mount and both diff housings.
If you can,do you mind posting up a pic of the set-up you did so i can get a better idea. i dont mean to sound dumb to the idea

Sorry I didn't clean it yet lol. I'm busy packing for the big move, but you can see the spacers in the pics. They are the black tubes between the diff and the chassis. Use the same spacer on the Diff brace on the motor side to compensate for the height difference. No reason to move the motor. You will also need longer bolts for the diff as well as the brace on the motor
