Default fg disk brake problem

i installed the disk brakes to my fg mt and was wery happy with them but the first time i took them out on the field they did not lock up.
so i thought it is my servo so i changed it to a better one ( 24 kg pull) but they still not lock up.The rear one does but not the front ones.

could you help me please/??????? how to do it better.

Check to make sure all the cable are tight enough to lock the calipers on the front when you apply the throttle brake on the transmitter. It sounds like your cables are not adjusted correctly.

check the screws that hold the calipers, you may have the screws out to far. If the screws are too far when you apply the brakes the 2 calipers have to squeeze together on the brake disk. Becareful not to make them too tight, if they are too tight you will burn out the shoes fast. Also make sure that you have the piece that pushes the calipers closed in right.

Reddog, any luck ?

Ask GURUMODS how he adjusted his. Mine work perfectly and he set them up. He said the key was to have them pulling exactly the same, and it can be a bit difficult to set up. Try holding the bracket and using plyers to pull for an absolute lock down point, and then back off a bit when you set screw it.

HTH if you have not already fixed it.
