why are the bodies so expensive? is there anyway to make mine last longer? besides not crashing? has anyone tried the adapters to put 1/8th and 1/10th scale tires on your trucks?

I'm looking at GIJOE large Scale figure vehicles and TONKA TRUCKS to gut and put the bodies on the FG. at 150.00 a pop for the FG MT shell, I'm really not wanting to dish out that cash every few months for a new body if I can get somethign way cheaper and cooler.

I made a cardboard body. It is made out of a slip sheet for a pallet. I spay painted it blue. It kind of reminds me of a bread delivery truck.
