your poll won't work.
timmh has a react and it is in the shop i have a sensor and broke the screen off 65.00 laster it was fixed.
i was out running this morning and just fro the hell of it i tried to see whar range the nomadio sensor had and the range was fantastic no glitches.
you are going to have to make your own choice on which one to get.
some like vanilla and some like chocolate.

Hi whizzy, Sorry it took so long to get back! I like the 2.4 because less interfirence & I find it to have a better a range.PS:Over TWICE as many bits of information per packet than the leading competitor, for incredible response speed!Look here->[link=http://2.4gigahertz.com/systems/futk2020.html]2.4gigahertz[/link] & Manual here->[link=http://www.futaba-rc.com/sellsheets/futk2000-sellsheet.pdf]Futaba-rc[/link]

I have never even seen the futaba 2.4 before, that one looks just like my 75mhz one except for the antenna. Do they run about the same cost as the spektrum?

there is only one down fall on the react, if you use a mac computer. You need window to use the desktop software.
The react could be the last radio you buy, it is fully upgradeable! 4 channels! Very light! IMO the only radio for large scale!

RE: 2.4ghz radio for largescale
My vote for the React, currently have one!. Feels great in the hand and is very quick to respond..
Here's some specs on it
TX / RX with Tx NiMh pack
Telem, RF bind and receiver voltage built in. Tach and Temp plug and play
40 Model memory
4ch
More mixing then any other R/C car radio
PC Interface
PC updatable
Game Control function built in
USB charging
Custom Splash Screen
Super Light weight
100Hz speed TWICE as fast as spek and 25Hz faster then FASST by Futaba
We have it all plus we have the HOT radio database just in case your Nomadio gets jacked we may be able to track it to who lifted it

I've even seen people with glitches with the Spektrum.
And to tell you the truth, for the price of the DX3, you can buy a React, which is superior in every way, except that the plastic feels cheap.

If you got to the Nomadio React's Website, then the [link=http://support.nomadio.net/]Discussion[/link] page. Do a search for skins or a search for Ledi. He's the guy that did the skins. Very resonable price too..

RE: 2.4ghz radio for largescale
I am backing the Nomadio React. I've been doin a fair bit of research on the radio's over the last couple of weeks. And the React definately has the edge over other radio's in (or even over) it's price range. So unless I get convinced otherwise before tomorrow (Monday), I will be ordering it at $310 Aus dollars with postage and free temp sensor.
I've read some real interesting posts in this forum, and it's definately worth doin a search if your considering a upgrade.
Thanks
Matt G.

RE: 2.4ghz radio for largescale
I would like to get a Nomadio. I started out with a Spektrum DX3.0 (still have it) and I agree with the other posters that it is buggy. Mine glitches, range is poor, and the radio has no features. I then bought a 3PM and have been very happy with it. The range is great and it feels fast plust it has some decent features. I then looked into the 3PK and loved its features and thought it would be great with a FASST module. However, once I saw the Nomadio's and all of the features you get with it - I changed my mind. I will keep my 3PM but I plan on ditching the DX3 and getting a Nomadio in the future.
