Make sure your airfilter is clean and adjust the low needle 1/8 turn at a time.

also check the exhaust bolts as they tend to get loose

I found with my FH with those smaller tires and gearing with a pipe that it has a ton more punch off the line than stock muffler on and the car gets to top speed very quickly. Bigger tires and a larger pinion gear on the motor will help with a little slower take off but more top end. I'm surely not wanting any gearing than the stock 19/48. I'm thinking I would like a 21 to 22 tooth pinion gear on my car.

The Firehammer M/T has the EXACT same size tires and wheels as the Smartech! They are the same tires and wheels!

The truck may not scream off the line but it shouldn't bog no matter what exhaust is attached. If you are nailing the throttle from zero and the engine bogs down like it wants to die it might be the carb settings. The stock settings for the H and L screws are roughly 1.25 - 1.5 turns out. Simply turn them all the way in (don't crank them real tight, just slow and snug) and then turn them out to those settings as a starting point. Run the truck and see how it does. You can tweak the needles in small increments to get to the desired point while running it.

There are many threads on engine tuning if you search for them.

I agree with Ken, my Bigfoot throws the dirt and grass up right off the line.

well got my ddm pipe put on today on my FH MT and i realy moves quick.i punched it and when it gets on the pipe it just pulled up and flip on roof.did this few times.it has more low end than stock but its power comes very strong from mid up.only has 2 tanks through now so it should get little faster.i think wheelie bar time.
