Quality? Zenoah VS. CY
Okay im getting new everything so this truck will be realiable rather it likes it or not !!
Anyway i need to know from poeple whos experiance both brands of engines. are these engine exactly alike ??
I priced a 29cc CY all chrome for 199.00 and the Zenoah 26 runs 245.00 both with inner clutch. Is CY cheaply made and what is the difference between them. before i would never even think of a CY engine but its cheaper with more power and you cant beat that. Im kinda hoping CY isent the KIA of the 2 storkes
Thanks again

Yeah i was kinda hoping EarthSurfer would chime in on this one
But this is the motor im considering. it only has .75 more Hp then the stock Zen 26.. and this CY has a stuffed crank. that would be a noticable difference do you guys think?? Zen 26 with 30+ Hp and CY 29 with 3.75+Hp.. May the CY's are undeer powered

Can't speak for the CY.
But I got the 26cc Zenoah, with the ported head from O'Niel Brothers..
Problem is trying to get the power to the ground.
It's fun seeing it roost everywhere but when you racing against mates with the Baja's 23cc CY, traction is whats needed more...

RE: Quality? Zenoah VS. CY
The biggest difference is CY has always been a bit of a crap shoot when it comes to cylinder plating. Zen has not had that problem. IMO, both of them could have better quality---but the plating is pretty importent, so for overall quality, I have to give it up to Zen. Keep in mind, there are many people that are satisfied with their bigger CY engines, and only CY offers stroked cranks and bigger than 34mm bore cylinders.
