my dirt tracker is back.
hey there guys i would like to say the guy i sold my dirt tracker to sold it back to me for the same money i sold it to him!so yeah its back and i will try to do sme stuff to it as much as possible.!

heres an update on this monster. i have got the suspension parts for it, but i had to hack up the chassis and back half it. it will be a 4-link in the rear, followed by a z-link setup on both sides of the rear. got to go charge my camera to get some pics of the way it stands, and the parts i have aquired!
[8D] hopefully gunna get a few motors to test in this beast by the end of the month. it will be chain driven. i have re drawn up the chassis.
old chassis on left:: new chassis on right
new chassis 46 in in length::: old chassis length 52 in
so i cut down a lot of the excess length and am redoing the whole back end and the cage.

here are the pics of the chopped up chassis and all the parts i have bought. i have all 8 wheels and tires and now all the suspension stuff too!!!! and some hand sketches of the way i want the chassis and everything to look like

here in a few days i will be making some new peices for the cage and rear section. i might make a template like QSB did for his truck. what do yall think?

ok well i got some work done. i decided to not go with a template, b/c i have already got what i need. so i just went for it and cut some peices to use on the 4 cage points on the mid part of the chassis

i have been working on this darn money pit, and now i have a little update with the cage i have the rear main hoop bent up and ready to weld, fixing to make top halo tomorrow. then i will put on the down tubes and then make some time for pics.
will have pics in 2-3 days.
oh and i am making the top half of the cage removable for easy engine maintence.
