Looks good, I have plans of building a copy of my 62 Plymouth pro street, I am going to carve the body out of foam and then do the final detail work with body filler and and glass.
I will use it as a plug to make a glass mold.
Keep up the good work, you should post this on Quarterscalelegends, there is a lot of people wh would enjoy talking with you about your project.
Here is a link to the forum http://www.quarterscalelegends.com/bb/ I go by the name Alloyparts on there
Cheers! it looks Great

No worries, that is somthing to be proud of there, I like the full cage chasis better myself for these types of projects, but, hey you use what you have.
Keep us posted with some pics as you progress, I am sure you will get a ton of people asking questions.
Have you thought of useing the body you made for a plug to pull glass bodies from? I am sure you could sell some if you did.
If I can be of help, drop me a line.
Cheers
Derf

The outside is what needs to be nice, you would lay the glass over the body to make a female mold, thus inturn giving you a good easy layup of the new glass body.
The fact that you have a steel body would be good as it would not warp during the mold process.

I made molds off of several parts to produce this body. Nice thing about having a mold is you can produce several bodies from it.
Now I need some tires and a skellenger rear end housing. Already have the ring & pinion.

That is one awesome start there !! Where did you get the wheels & tires ? I am interested in building one kinda like it. I want a newer muscle car body on mine. More of a drag car look, than street rod style. I can't wait to see finished pictures though. That will be one awesome looking & running ride. I watched a Skellenger on ebay a week or so ago. Man they get big money for those. I wish someone would start producing some again & lower the prices for now. It would allow for a ton of cool new projects to be built. Again, Thats Very cool !!
