Appropriate Charger for my Bigfoot battery pack, help??
Hello Everyone:
I recently got my smartech bigfoot in the mail. Strangely enough, the battery charger was not included (not sure if it should be included or not).
Anyway, I have a dynamite charger, which can charge a battery pack in 15 minutes. It has connection for a large connector.
A picture of the bigfoot battery is below. Is there anyway to get an adapter so I can use my dynamite charger to charge the bigfoot battery pack? If not, do they sell 15 minute chargers for these type of battery packs?

Which Dynamite charger do you have?
I had to purchase this one:
http://www.dynamiterc.com/Products/D...ProdID=DYN4056
It charges the 6volt/5 cell battery that came with my Firehammer MT (looks like yours). Works very well. Check out HorizonHobby.com.

Below is a picture of the charger I purchased a few months back. I believe the connector is referred to as a Tamiya connector. I wish there was a way to charge my bigfoot battery back using this dynamite charger. Funny thing is, I don't even use this charger anymore. After my roto starter broke, I use my makita drill to start my savage

Stats of your current charger:
# Operates from 110V AC outlet or 12V DC power source
# Average charge capacity of 4.0 amps
# Charges 6/7 cell NiCd or Ni-MH packs
# Pre-wired Tamiya style connector
# 15 minute timer with automatic trickle charge
# Voltmeter jacks
I'm not sure you want to use that one you have for a 5 cell 6 volt pack.
Wait until someone else chimes in.

I used this as a cheap way to keep all my different receiver packs charged. It can do Nicads, NiMH, and lipos. IT costs less than 50 bucks and you can even charge two different packs at one time. It works great.

That charger is awesome for the money just remember it is DC only. So you will need a power supply to use it in the house. I have used this one with great success.

I have switched to this on now since it charges everything I throw at it from my glo igniter to 7 cell packs.
