running on it. Check out the NATC series going on now it runs from like Feb.- Nov. monthly races on different tracks. I have an FG Comp that I recently did a front to rear rebuild and can not wait to get it
on that track. The last race had 27 drivers with 16 running STC cars. Running a 10 car main some get bumped in the "B" main but thats racin'

Floyd Bennit Field in Brooklyn. I know its a hike for u , but they do run 5th scales there. I spoke to the owner and he said he didnt have a problem letting us run! Ive been trying to organize a 5th scale class so we can show up in force so he sees we're serious!

FBF is kinda small.... It was really built with 10th and 8th scale in mind...

I know 301 raceway hosted the 5th scale nats last year but they don't seem to have a continuous series...

If you could get it going, I wouldn't mind heading out there 1 or 2 times a month to race. Alan lives even closer than I do, we could probably carpool there.

I wouldn't mind traveling once a month to a place that has a good turnout on a world class track...

Would this be organized racing with transponders and timing equipment? If you get that going with 5th scales, I'm in.

Hey 2pock, what's the good word? You coming down on Sun, and do you have any more info about 5th scale racing at FBF? I wouldn't be able to make it every Sun, but I could definitely do 1 or 2 a month and I'm sure I could get Alan to go.

I could probably make it out once a month... I try to keep my driving to a minimum... The onger I spend in a car the worse the pins and needles in my hands get...

What's the deal with 301 raceway? Do they actually run a large scale class or was it just for the nats last year???

I'm starting to think that except for the few tracks on the west coast the rest of us are racing in parking lots...

my buddy that owns the shop in china-town doesnt want to come out to LI with me.To much of a commute for him, hes coming from NJ. But I did get him to promise if I can get enough guys to come to FBF he'll make a show. So im trying to coordinate a day (preferrably a Sunday) that we all meet up at FBF !
