Default This engine for baja5b?

Is [link=http://www.davesmotors.com/store/product2008.html]THIS[/link] a good upgrade engine for my baja5b? Is it a direct drop in, no mods correct?

You might have to modify the clutch bell housing to clear the brake rod. Or you can use the stock bell housing off your stock motor, as it was designed for the Baja by HPI.

Go for it! That engine with the Jetpro pipe should be an awesome combo.

this one is on the way for my truck.. i picked this one because im can change the compression really easy. i picked a silver head for it. and no muffler cant freakin wait!! but i have allot motor mounts and a pinion gear to get for the layshaft since i rounded it out lol. i should picked the red top but oh well. it'd probally just fade anyway but that why i picked the silver one. But with my DDM pipe i should be laying down 5HP.. but it's the torque is what counts
