Need your help on what to buy
Does any one know about this engine http://www.davesmotors.com/store/product1720.html Is that a good reliable motor for the Baja. I don't have much money to spend but this looks like a deal.

RE: Need your help on what to buy
OMG this engine is Sick!!! i just installed one in my Fg MT and its FAST!! it's seems to rev as high as my Zen 26 did with the DDM top end pipe. Wheelies on cammand in mid-range.. I got the all chrome one. 2 thumbs up from me.
Listen my truck weight atleast 35-40lbs. I dont know if you'll need to up-grade your drive train in the baba5. But if it send my truck to top speed THAT fast. Your much lighter baha5 is going to straight up sail. dirt rocket!! lol Get the motor and a good pipe to match it and you'll love it i promise.
This engine will come stock with a 14:1 compression dome.. which you can change later on if you like for more low end snap. The Con of going up in compression is losing top-end . So 14:1 is good. thats where im keeping mine unless i find a tug o war contest LoL

Every "29cc" engine has a +2mm stroker crank. That's how you get 29ccs from a 35mm bore.

If you are looking for more off the line torque go with the 29cc. The engine is more of a torque engine than top speed. If you are looking for more top speed, buy the ported 26 engine or the 27 cc big bore kit and put it on your fuelie. I put the big bore kit on mine and it runs awesome.
