Default Asphalt/Concrete Tire

Finally found a decent tire that hooks up good on concrete/asphalt yet does not balloon up, and lasts a long time. I ran four tanks of fuel on concrete with an outside temperature of 97 degrees and the photo below is how they look now. I had been running Pro Line Moabs which did get better traction, however they would balloon up terribly even after installing VERY firm foams and fiberglass packing tape. Also they did not last very long.
These tires are Duratrax Thuder Quake tires mounted on Pro Line Wabash wheels. Also one thing I like about these tires is that when cornering hard at High speeds the tires will not hook causing the truck to flip like the Moabs did from time to time.

Did the rims need any mods to work with the Firehammer? Did you need the 40 series adapters?

Tire dimensions can be found here.

I used CNR 23mm hub adapters that fit the 40 series tires. The tires fit the wheel just a little loose, however they are more balanced than my Moabs because I actually had to place several weights on the inside of the same wheels with the Moabs. Now I use NO wheel weights.

thats good to hear, we need tires that are going to last.
another tire that seems to get good ratings is the FG Stadium truck tires.
