Default Tad bit of advice please

I want to get a large scale monster truck, and I dont really want to keep my Baja as well. That said, my Baja is not in the best of shape, as you can see in my other thread. It needs a new chassis, front upper plate, and maybe a few other bits and peices on the front end. It does however have a ESP modified CY29RC, metal gear steering servo, and DDM dominator pipe, among a few other hop ups. Is this thing worth selling as is on RCU or ebay? Or should I part it out and sell them, trashing the chassis?

Ouch, I would eather fix it and sell or part it out. if you not in a hurry to sell it i would set on it for awhile and post the parts on ebay auction or here. I think you would get more on ebay though. whole or parts. also you may be able to use some of them parts on your new truck. mabye.

After looking at it a little closer it really dont look that bad. cant you get replacement parts fairly cheap for it? and fix it then sell it for a good price i really dont know alot about them im really only into 1/4 scale and some 1/3 stuff.

I would fix it, then sell it. Parting out sounds like a pain in the ass. Less than $200 would take care of it wouldn't it?

I have a Firehammer MT and just bought a Baja about a month ago. They both are awesome. I don't think I could get rid of the Baja now for anything.

Probably make more money parting it out. But the listings, omg! The fees. Dealing with Paypal, Money orders and the such. Oh, and the hastles of boxing it up and dealing with UPS, USPS. Nuff said.

If you want to get a large scale MT. Keep your motor and metal gear servo. Sell the pipe and put all the stock parts back in the Baja. Not sure what you would get for it, maybe $500 because its wrecked.

Why dont you want to keep your Baja?

It looks like you could straighten the chassis. I have seen worse bends that were straightened.

JUST FIX IT.

If you think that running a truck/ car of this scale that they will never break, tweek, or bend parts, you are saddly mistaken.

REPLACE THE PARTS, then sell it if you dont' want it, OR offer it up for trade here in the RCU want ads with yourself willing to add soem cash in a trade for a truck or something like that. Parting it out is pointless.

If i had the money i'd buy it from you just like that for a fair price.. i could easily fix that with hop-up parts and maybe a new chasis. I'd try to bend it back first.

Well if it were me I would bite the bullet and just buy a new chassis for 119.00 and call it a lesson learned[:@]
THIS IS THE CHEAPEST ONE YOU'LL FIND...

You're all going to find me and strangle me, but I gave in - I just listed the thing as is with a few extra bits and peices in the RCU market place. Just dont have the time to deal with it right now. Someone will snap it up with the upgraded engine and pipe
