try a motorbike shop or an aftermarket auto parts store just make sure the oil you buy is rated at JASO-FC or better. You will find this printed on the container.

This has happened twice. First the fix was better than 25:1. Second it was 32:1 using Amsoil. Ran my engine for about 1 tank and it would stall and not start. Took out the plug and there was considerable oil build-up. I undo the plug flip the car over and pull the start to get the thick black build-up out. I pour clean gas through the plug and repeat. It would start then. Anyone have any suggestions. Are my carb settings screwed up?

Thanks

Hey, you confuse me. What do you mean by 1:32 with Amsoil? Each oil hasn't a table behind and tells you how much you must put?

mnorman367, I'd say the carb is set wrong or the piston ring is worn or you are using a poor grade of 2 stroke oil.

Osirisf16, Best bet on oil to gas ratio is whatever the company who built the RC engine suggested. Also yes each oil company suggest different mixes but you don't need to follow their suggestions, it's best to just use what the engine company recommends.

In a few days i will have my answer from the local aftermarket shop. He said that he bring 2-stroke oils for high rpm engines and i think this is going to be.
